Bratonia Park

This park is described as a park for the radio-controlled airplane enthusiast. Bratonia Park is located east of Lucas adjacent to Lake Lavon. This park is operated and managed by the Richardson Radio Control Club.

There is not much more to it than an open field that when we stopped by was pretty overgrown with tall grass. There are no picnic tables, restrooms, or pretty much anything in this park.

If you look at the Texas Parks & Wildlife website, it says there is a boat ramp here. It looked to us like the ramp was closed long ago. If you are looking for a park or boat ramp from which to enjoy Lake Lavon, there are many others out there.
