Highland Park

[This park is currently closed]

Highland Park is located on the very north end of Lake Lavon. When we stopped by it was closed and looked like it had been closed for quite some time. According to the Army Corps of Engineers website, Highland Park is closed due to low lake levels.

The good news is there are plenty of other beautiful parks on the lake to enjoy. For the time being, you should avoid making a trip out Highland Park.
